The 5-Year Written Odor Proofing Guarantee

OdorXpert's Odor Proofing Service℠ prepares and seals qualifying urine-affected structural surfaces using our proprietary Odor Encapsulator. This document is the limited written 5-year guarantee that backs that service. It applies only to the specific surfaces treated under your OdorXpert invoice, and only as described below. This is a Limited Warranty and is the entire guarantee between OdorXpert and the customer for the treated work; it replaces any other oral or written statements about guarantee coverage.

1. What is covered

For five (5) years from the completion/invoice date, OdorXpert guarantees that the specific structural surfaces we prepared and sealed with the Odor Encapsulator — as itemized on your invoice — will remain free of the returning pet-urine odor that originated from those treated surfaces and was the subject of the original service.

2. The remedy

If covered odor returns from a treated surface within the guarantee term, OdorXpert's sole obligation, and the customer's sole remedy, is: OdorXpert will re-inspect the affected treated area and, if the returning odor is confirmed to originate from a surface covered by this guarantee, re-treat that area with the Odor Encapsulator at no additional charge. This guarantee provides re-treatment only — it does not provide a refund, credit, or any other remedy.

3. Conditions (all must be met)

• The service was paid in full.

• The customer did not decline OdorXpert's recommended scope (e.g., recommended removal, structural drying, or treatment of additional affected areas). Areas not treated are not covered.

• The sealed surfaces have not been cut, drilled, sanded, penetrated, removed, flooded, or otherwise disturbed by the customer or any third party (including flooring installers, contractors, or plumbers) after treatment.

• There has been no new pet urine, new animal contamination, water intrusion, or other new damage to the treated area after completion.

• The customer notifies OdorXpert within 30 days of first noticing the returning odor and allows OdorXpert to inspect the area before any other party works on it.

• The property has been maintained in normal condition and any OdorXpert care instructions were followed.

4. What is NOT covered

• New or future pet accidents or any new contamination after treatment.

• Untreated areas or any surface outside the itemized scope on the invoice — including areas the customer declined to treat.

• Odor from other sources: smoke, cooking, garbage, mold or water damage, HVAC, sewage, or animals/sources not part of the original scope.

• Work that was oxidizer-only or surface-only treatment rather than Odor Encapsulator encapsulation of a prepared structural surface.

• Inspections and estimates — diagnostic services are never guaranteed.

• Pet dander, hair, or allergens — offered for reduction only, with no odor-proofing guarantee.

• Odor or damage caused by third-party work, remodeling, flooding, leaks, structural changes, or failure to follow care instructions.

• Any consequential, incidental, or secondary damages, to the extent permitted by law.

5. What Odor Proofing does and does not do

The Odor Proofing Service and this guarantee address pet-urine odor associated with the specific structural materials OdorXpert treats. They do not make the floor, the walls, or the property impervious to future pet accidents or to odor from any other source. No treatment can prevent a pet from creating new contamination. This guarantee covers only the defined, previously treated surfaces, under the terms above.

6. Duration & identification

Coverage runs five (5) years from the completion/invoice date. Each guarantee is identified by, and tied to the documented scope on, the OdorXpert invoice number for the job. Keep your invoice — it is your proof of coverage.

7. Transferability

This guarantee is non-transferable. It extends only to the original customer at the original service address.

8. How to make a claim

Contact OdorXpert at 877-386-3677 or info@odorxpert.com within 30 days of noticing returning odor. Provide your invoice number, the service address, and a description of the odor. OdorXpert will schedule an inspection to confirm coverage before any re-treatment.

9. Governing terms

This limited written guarantee is governed by the law of the State of California. Except as expressly stated in this document and as required by applicable law, OdorXpert makes no other warranties, express or implied. Any implied warranties that cannot be lawfully disclaimed are limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the five-year duration of this guarantee. This document is the complete and exclusive statement of the guarantee.
